The Andromeda Labs Spoiler Stabilizer

Introduction:
We were fed up with the rear spoiler wobble on our 10th generation civic si coupe at high speeds. The aftermarket had very few options and even fewer stylish options, so we decided to design our own. Made from precision cut carbon fiber panels and a vibration absorbing resin material for the contact points, we finally made something that we would want on our build!
Installation Instructions:
Required Materials
- Andromeda Labs Spoiler Stabilizer
- Method of marking alignment (dry erase marker or painters tape recommended)
- Isopropyl alcohol
- cleaning wipe
Step 1: Align Spoiler Stabilizer
Without removing the protective film from the 3M adhesive, align the stabilizer with the top contact on the front bevel of the rear spoiler. Apply a small amount of pressure upward on the rear spoiler to allow the stabilizer to have the tightest fit possible in order to properly stabilize the rear spoiler. The bottom contact should be on the trunk with a portion of it being on the brake light section of the trunk. Properly aligned, the stabilizer should look something like this:
Step 2: Mark position of the dampers
Once you are happy with the alignment of the stabilizer, use a dry erase marker or painter's tape to mark the positions of the top and bottom contact dampers on your trunk and spoiler. Make sure this are accurate as you will need to install the dampers separately and alignment between the top and bottom dampers is key to a proper fitment.
Step 3: Install the dampers onto the trunk and spoiler
Remove the spoiler stabilizer from the trunk and remove the top and bottom damper off of the center carbon fiber structure. Properly clean the areas where the dampers will be mounted on the car using a cleaning cloth and isopropyl alcohol to remove any debris or residue that might interfere with the 3M adhesive. Peel the protective backing off of the 3M adhesive and install the dampers onto the trunk and front bevel of the spoiler following the guides that were made from the last step.
Step 4: Install center carbon fiber structure
Once you are happy with the installation of the dampers, all you need to do now is apply some upward pressure on to the rear spoiler and slide the center carbon structure into the slots of the top and bottom dampers. If done properly you should have a solid and stable structure now supporting the rear spoiler!
